Updated directions for Mafia Wars toolbar bonus without install
The Mafia Wars toolbar sits at the bottom of your browser and maintains your stats. But, if you're like me, you don't want to install another toolbar on your browser. (I also did not like the privacy policy as listed for the toolbar). Here are some steps to get the bonus without having the toolbar installed. This works as of 2/10/2010.The first time you do this, if you have not installed the toolbar, you'll receive an achievement and the "utility toolbelt".
You'll either get a 25% mini energy buff based on your current energy value (so use wisely) through the toolbar or a bonus to your stamina.
STEP 1 - click this link

STEP 2 - A screen will appear with the option to install either the Farmville or Mafia Wars toolbar. It will ask you to login to Facebook. (If your login is set for "remember", it will automatically log you in.)
STEP 3 - Click this link

You should receive the following message: "Congratulations! You received a Mini Energy Buff which increased your Energy by 25%, from using the Mafia Wars Toolbar!"
Note: if you have claimed this in the last 8 hours, it will not work.
STEP 4 - Click this link to log out of the toolbar
